I haven't had any time to stamp this week and decided that I just needed to make some time today on this cold and snowy Sunday! Can you believe it's the end of March and it's lightly snowing here?! I wish spring would kick 'ol man winter's bootie out of here! Even the kids at school have been telling me how sick they are of the cold. So I decided to make a card with flowers and the promise of spring.......The set I used is called Awash with Flowers; I just watercolored the petals and leaves, and then cut them out. Added some brads in the middle, stamped "thanks" and added my layers. Very fast and spring like! Here's the details:
Stamps: Awash with Flowers, Thank You Kindly
Inks: Basic Black, Blushing Bride, Early Espresso, So Saffron, Certainly Celery
Papers: Whisper White, Early Espresso, So Saffron, Certainly Celery, Blushing Bride DP (Hostess Level 1)
Accessories: Big Shot, Perfect Polka Dots EF, Watercolor Brush, Fire Circle Brads, Paper Piercing Tool, Scallop Edge Border Punch, Scissors, Dimensionals, Mini-Glue Dots
I love to use the Awash with flowers like this! YOur colors make it look so dainty!
