Try Stampin' on Tuesday

Time to pull out your stampin' goodies, and join us over at the Try Stampin' on Tuesday challenge blog!  We have another great sketch for you:

Once you're done creating your challenge project, you can simply load it HERE.  We can't wait to see what you have created; thanks for playing along today!

For my challenge card, I reached once again for my favorite SAB set, Feeling Sentimental.  After I heat embossed and stamped the image, I then crumpled up the cardstock to give the images a more vintage look.  I ran a scrap piece of Very Vanilla c/s through my Big Shot using the Honeycomb EF, and then ran both a Soft Suede and Early Espresso inkpad over the top of the honeycombs and edges.  I then gently ripped and curled some of the edges of the honeycomb.  I used the DSP, Mocha Morning, as a background.  I think this DSP works really well with this set and wish it wasn't retired! Here's the details:

Stamps: Feeling Sentimental
Inks: Soft Suede, Early Espresso, Crumb Cake
Papers: Very Vanilla, Soft Suede, Mocha Morning DSP
Accessories: Big Shot, Honeycomb EF, Heat Gun, Vanilla EP, Neutral Brads, 1-1/4" Square Punch, Early Espresso Baker's Twine, Button from the Artisan Embellishments Kit, Paper Distressing Tool, Very Vanilla Ribbon, Dimensionals, Mini Glue Dots

Combo Challenge Card

I made a card that is actually for two challenges: the Monday Lunchtime Sketch Challenge, and the Late Night Stampers challenge.  The Monday Lunchtime Sketch is shown below, and this week's LNS challenge is to incorporate green in your card in honor of St. Pat's Day coming  up.

To add your creation to the Monday Lunchtime Sketch Challenge Blog, simply click: HERE

To add your work of art to the Late Night Stamper Blog, click: HERE

For my card, I used the beautiful Tea for Two DSP paired with the stamp set, Hearts a Flutter - both are from the current spring catalog.  I stamped one of the images (sorry, not sure what the name of the image is) from the Hearts a Flutter set in both Calypso Corral and Lucky Limeade.  I then used the Bitty Butterfly punch, from the spring catalog, to create the butterflies along the edge.  I did a zig-zag stitch using my trusty old Singer (that I bought back in 1979) along the edges of the DSP and the Calypso Corral c/s, and across the butterflies.  Added some pearls, a saying (that was cut out using the Bitty Banners Framelit), ribbon and a few other goodies as well!  Here's the rest of the details:

Stamps: Hearts a Flutter, Teeny Tiny Wishes
Inks: Calypso Corral, Lucky Limeade
Papers:  Whisper White, Calypso Corral, Lucky Limeade, Tea for Two DSP
Accessories: Big Shot, Hearts a Flutter Framelits, Bitty Banners Framelits, Apothecary Accents Die, Bitty Butterfly Punch, Perfect Polka Dot EF, Tea Lace Paper Dollies, Calypso Corral Ribbon, Lucky Limeade Ribbon, Pearls, Sewing Machine/Thread, Dimensionals
