LNS Challenge Switch A Roo....

This week's LNS challenge is to take a scrapbook page that you have either created or saw on line, and turn it into a card.  Or take a scrapbook page and turn it into a card - you get the idea!

When you get done with your fabulous creation, please simply post in on the LNS blog; which you can find HERE.

I used a page that I saw on PI and changed it up a bit.  Being the computer geek that I am, I can find the page that I case....when I find it, I will add it to my post!  Below is my card:

It's kind of a CAS type of card and tried to keep it simple.  The flower images were stamped using Calypso Coral and then I cut them out and layered them over the Lucky Limeade stem image.  I used a couple of different framelits/dies as well, and you can find them listed below.

Stamps: Field Flowers, Itty Bitty Backgrounds
Inks: Calypso Coral, Lucky Limeade, Early Espresso, Bashful Blue
Papers: Very Vanilla, Tea for Two DSP
Accessories: Big Shot, Hearts a Flutter Dies, Windows Frames Framelits, Designer Frames EF, Bitty Banners Framelits, Calypso Coral and Bashful Blue Buttons, Pearls, Calypso Coral Baker's Twine, Dimensionals, Sewing Machine/Thread

Try Stampin' on Tuesday

Ready for today's Try Stampin' on Tuesday Challenge?  If so, here's the sketch below!  When you are finished with your creation, you can post it: HERE

I went for a CAS look for my card and used my favorite flower set, Field Flowers, for my card.  After I stamped the flower images with Calypso Coral, I cut them out and feathered the edges with a Calypso Coral inkpad.  I cut out a piece of Very Vanilla c/s using one of the Apothecary Accent Die, and the crumpled it up and swiped a Calypso Coral inkpad across the front and edges of the c/s.  Then I added some pearls, ribbon, sentiment and there you have it - a quick, but cute, CAS card!

Stamps: Field Flowers
Inks: Calypso Coral, Lucky Limeade
Papers: Very Vanilla, Lucky Limeade
Accessories: Big Shot, Apothecary Accent Die, Lucky Brocade EF, Delicate Designs Folder, Oval Punch, Bitty Butterfly Punch, Pearls, Vintage Trinkets, Crochet Trim Ribbon, Dimensionals

Ttry Stampin' on Tuesday Challenge

Happy New Year's Everyone!  I hope 2013 is filled with many blessings to you and your family!

It's Tuesday, and that means it's time for this week's Try Stampin' on Tuesday challenge!  We have a great sketch for you, which you can find below.  After you have created your work of art, you can load it on the Try Stampin' on Tuesday blog HERE.

For my take on this sketch I used the stamp set, Field Flowers, and paired it with the stamp sets, Four Frames and Itty Bitty Backgrounds.  The flower images were stamped using Wisteria Wonder Ink; one flower was stamped on scratch cardstock and then cut it out. I distressed the edge of the cardstock with a distressing tool. I used the new Needlepoint Border EF to make the impressions on the top and the bottom of the card. I ran the ribbon through a slider and then added a 5/8" Vanilla Flower (from the new spring catalog) over the slider.  Below is a list of items I used to make my card:

Stamps: Field Flowers, Four Frames, Itty Bitty Backgrounds
Inks: Wisteria Wonder, Old Olive
Papers: Wisteria Wonder, Very Vanilla
Accessories: Big Shot, Lacy Brocade EF, Needlepoint Border EF, Vanilla Flower, Old Olive Ribbon, Pearls, Slider, Decorative Label Punch, Distressing Tool, Dimensionals
