Techno Stamper Monday Challenge

Good morning - The sun is out and it is finally feeling like spring outside!  Winter has been hanging around far too long......

Are you ready for this week's Techno Stamper Monday Lunchtime Challenge?  We hope so; we would love to have you play along with us!  You can find the sketch below, and when you're done creating your challenge card, you can load it HERE

I pulled out one of my favorite retired stamps, Sail Away, to use for my challenge card.  I stamped the boat twice on a piece of Very Vanilla c/s using a Chocolate Chip inkpad.  I cut out the sails from one of the images and then layered it over the other sails using Dimensionals.  I used the 1" circle punch on a post it note to create the mask for the moon.  Here's a list of what I used:

Stamps: Sail Away, SAB Feeling Sentimental (saying)
Inks: Chocolate Chip, So Saffron, Pumpkin Pie, Bashful Blue
Papers: Very Vanilla, Chocolate Chip, Botanical Gazette DSP
Accessories:  Big Shot, Top Note Die, Windows Frame Framelits, Chevron EF, Chocolate Chip Satin Ribbon, Very Vanilla Brads, Sponges, Paper Piercing Tool, 1" Circle Punch, Post-it-Note, Dimensionals

Technostamper Lunchtime Sketch Challenge

We have another fun sketch challenge for you this week over at Technostamper, and here it is:

You can find the design team samples and the link to load your project HERE.  This is such a fun sketch with tons of possibilities!

The following is my take on the sketch.  I wasn't sure if I would get it done since I have had one of the "face plant" sinus headaches for the past 4 days, and  and my apologies to Mary Jo for getting my sample in so late!  It felt good to wake up this morning without a pounding headache, and stamp!  No school or work today, so double bonus!

Here's my card and the details below:

Stamps: SAB Patterned Occasions
Inks: Rich Razzleberry, Island Indigo
Papers:  Rich Razzleberry, Island Indigo, Whisper White, Sycamore Street DSP
Accessories: Big Shot, Top Note Die, Square Lattice EF, Perfect Polka Dots EF, Labels Collection Framelits, Modern Label Punch, Curly Label Punch, White Brads, Island Indigo SAB Ribbon, Hung Up Cute Clips, Dimensionals, Scissors, Paper Piercing Tool

LNS Gift Card Holder Challenge

I made the fun purse gift card holder for last week's LNS challenge.  The one thing that I love, love about our dies is that they make projects like this so simple to make!  I found a wonderful tutorial that Julie Buhler did on how to make the purse using the Top Note Die, and you can find it HERE.

I paired Be of Good Cheer DSP with Cherry Cobbler c/s for the purse front/back.  The top of the purse was made using the Scallop Circle and 3-1/2" Circle Bigz Dies.  I added a Christmas tree using the same DSP and the tree die from the Holiday Collections Framelits, and a star from the same Framelits using Red/Silver Glimmer Paper.

Stamps: Pennant Parade (saying), Joyous Celebrations (ribbon at botton of the tree)
Inks: Cherry Cobbler
Papers: Cherry Cobbler, Be of Good Cheer DSP, Red and Silver Glimmer Paper
Accessories: Big Shot, Top Note Die, Scallop Circle Bigz Die, 3-1/2" Circle Die, Holiday Collections Die, Little Labels Punch Pack, Rhinestone Basic Jewels, Gumball Green Ribbon, CAD, White Brads, Multipurpose Liquid Glue, Dimensionals

LNS "Sparkle" Challenge

This week's LNS Challenge is to add "sparkle" to your stamping projects!  I made a gift card holder for my project, and my sparkle includes a glimmer brad and star.  I used the top note die to create the base of the gift card holder, and cut one of the dies in half to create the pocket for the card.  I added some snow flakes using the Snow Flurry Bigz Die, and used the Bitty Banner Framelits to cut out the saying.

This is one of many products I am making for the upcoming Breakfast with Santa Holiday Craft Boutique that I will be at on Saturday at Mundelein High School.  Here is a list of what I used:

Stamps: Pennant Parade (saying)
Inks: Cherry Cobbler
Papers: Cherry Cobbler, Gumball Green, Very Vanilla, Be of Good Cheer DSP, Red Glimmer Paper
Accessories: Big Shot, Snow Flurry Bigz Die, Top Note Die, Bitty Banner Framelits, Holiday Collection Die, Cherry Cobbler Ribbon, White Baker's Twine, Red Glimmer Brad, Dimensionals
