Techno Stamper Lunchtime Monday Challenge

Happy Monday on this snowy day in the Chicagoland area!  We have a very fun challenge for you today over on the Techno Stamper blog, and hope you're up for the challenge!  You can find the sketch below, and when you are finished with your work of art, you can load it HERE.

I came across a penguin ornament on PI that was made by the very talented Patty Bennett, and thought the little guy would look cute as the main image for today's challenge.  You can see the penguin that cased on Patty's blog, and you can find it HERE.

The penguin was made with just a few punches: Large and medium oval, 1" Circle, Word Window, and I used the Petite Pennants Builder Punch for the nose.  I used one of the Hearts a Flutter dies to make the hat.  Here's a list of what I used:

Stamps: Pennant Parade
Inks: Cherry Cobbler
Papers: Whisper White, Cherry Cobbler, Crumb Cake, Season of Style, Red Glimmer Paper
Accessories: Big Shot, Stylish Stripes, Windows Frame Framelits, Snowflake EF, Large and medium oval, 1" Circle, Word Window, 1-1/4" Square Punch, Owl Builder Punch (tassel), Little Labels Punch Pack, 2-1/2" Circle Punch, Googlie Eyes, Dimensionals, Mini-Glue Dots

Today's Lunchtime Challenge!

It was another football weekend at the LeFevre household and the season seems to be flying by much too quickly for my liking.  Probably because this is Ben's last year playing and there have been too many "last times" lately.

Time for today's Techno Stamper Lunchtime Sketch Challenge and I hope you will find time out of your busy schedule to play along this week!  Below is the sketch, and you can load your card HERE.

I made an anniversary card for my project using the retired SAB set, Feeling Sentimental.  Below is my card and a list of what I used.

Inks: Island Indigo, Soft Suede, Pistachio Pudding
Papers: Very Vanilla, Island Indigo, Pistachio Pudding, Venetian Romance DSP

Try Stampin' on Tuesday Challenge

We have a very simple and fun challenge for you this week over at Try Stampin' on Tuesday!  I love the simplicity of this sketch and the possibilities that go with it!  When you are finished with your creation, please post it HERE.

For my card, I used the new DSP, Venetian Romance, for my background and love the look of it!  This card is CAS, and I like how it turned out.  I stamped the boat twice on Very Vanilla c/s using Soft Suede ink.  I then cut one image out with using a Windows Frames Die and cut out just the sails from the other image.  I punched a hole out of a post-it-note using the 1-3/8" circle punch, and sponged some Crisp Cantaloupe and Cajun Craze in the hole to create the look of the sun.  I also sponged some Pool Party and Crisp Cantaloupe along the bottom of the boat.  Here's a list of what I used:

Stamps: Sail Away
Inks: Soft Suede, Crisp Cantaloupe, Cajun Craze, Pool Party
Papers: Very Vanilla, Soft Suede, Venetian Romance DSP
Accessories: Big Shot, Windows Frame Framelits, Apothecary Accent Dies, 1-3/8" Circle Punch, CAD, Brown Eyelets, Pool Party Ribbon, Sponges, Scissors, Dimensionals
