Try Stampin' on Tuesday Challenge

It's a very hot Tuesday here in the Chicagoland area.  I work part-time as a lunch supervisor at my children's old school, and am very thankful that we had indoor recess today!

This week's sketch is shown below, and as you can see, you also need to add circles somewhere on your project!  When you are finished, you can load your card HERE.

I made a card for one of my co-workers for my project.  The flowers were stamped with Calypso Coral ink and then cut out.  I cut a piece of Very Vanilla c/s 2-1/2" x 3" and then centered the rectangular Designer Frames EF on the c/s and ran it through my Big Shot; creating a frame for the flowers.  I hope this counts, but the pearls and the Tea for Two DSP that I used for one of the butterflies are my circles!  Here's a list of what I used:

Stamps: Field Flowers, Express Yourself (saying)
Inks: Calypso Coral, Lucky Limeade, Soft Suede
Papers: Very Vanilla, Soft Suede, Tea for Two DSP
Accessories: Big Shot, Designer Frames EF, Lacy Brocade EF, Bitty Banners Framelits, Beautiful Wings Embosslits, Very Vanilla Ribbon, Pearls, Vintage Trinket, Distressing Tool, Dimensionals, Mini-Glue Dots, Sponges

Since my kids are in college and high school, I had to think about this a little bit and came up with a post-it-note holder.  I covered two 4"x4" coasters with Whisper White c/s and colored in the flower image with Old Olive and Rich Razzleberry SU! markers.  Here's a list of what I used:

Try Stampin' on Tuesday Challenge

We have a very simple and fun challenge for you this week over at Try Stampin' on Tuesday!  I love the simplicity of this sketch and the possibilities that go with it!  When you are finished with your creation, please post it HERE.

For my card, I used the new DSP, Venetian Romance, for my background and love the look of it!  This card is CAS, and I like how it turned out.  I stamped the boat twice on Very Vanilla c/s using Soft Suede ink.  I then cut one image out with using a Windows Frames Die and cut out just the sails from the other image.  I punched a hole out of a post-it-note using the 1-3/8" circle punch, and sponged some Crisp Cantaloupe and Cajun Craze in the hole to create the look of the sun.  I also sponged some Pool Party and Crisp Cantaloupe along the bottom of the boat.  Here's a list of what I used:

Stamps: Sail Away
Inks: Soft Suede, Crisp Cantaloupe, Cajun Craze, Pool Party
Papers: Very Vanilla, Soft Suede, Venetian Romance DSP
Accessories: Big Shot, Windows Frame Framelits, Apothecary Accent Dies, 1-3/8" Circle Punch, CAD, Brown Eyelets, Pool Party Ribbon, Sponges, Scissors, Dimensionals
