Techno Stamper Lunchtime Monday Challenge

Happy Monday on this snowy day in the Chicagoland area!  We have a very fun challenge for you today over on the Techno Stamper blog, and hope you're up for the challenge!  You can find the sketch below, and when you are finished with your work of art, you can load it HERE.

I came across a penguin ornament on PI that was made by the very talented Patty Bennett, and thought the little guy would look cute as the main image for today's challenge.  You can see the penguin that cased on Patty's blog, and you can find it HERE.

The penguin was made with just a few punches: Large and medium oval, 1" Circle, Word Window, and I used the Petite Pennants Builder Punch for the nose.  I used one of the Hearts a Flutter dies to make the hat.  Here's a list of what I used:

Stamps: Pennant Parade
Inks: Cherry Cobbler
Papers: Whisper White, Cherry Cobbler, Crumb Cake, Season of Style, Red Glimmer Paper
Accessories: Big Shot, Stylish Stripes, Windows Frame Framelits, Snowflake EF, Large and medium oval, 1" Circle, Word Window, 1-1/4" Square Punch, Owl Builder Punch (tassel), Little Labels Punch Pack, 2-1/2" Circle Punch, Googlie Eyes, Dimensionals, Mini-Glue Dots

Gift Box

I have been seeing a lot of cute cards and bags with elf shoes and thought I would give it a try as well!  They are so simple to make and I love how this box turned out!  I found a fun tutorial on Julie Cluff's blog that shows how to create these fun little shoes, and you can find the link HERE.

I used the Top Note Die to create the shoes, and cut the c/s in fourths.  The strip for the stockings are 3/4", and I used the 1-3/8" Circle Punch instead of the Ornament Punch. Here's the details........

Stamps: Happy Holiday stamp (not sure from what set)
Inks: Cherry Cobbler
Papers: Gumball Green, Cherry Cobbler, Very Vanilla, retired SU! DSP, Silver Paper
Accessories: Big Shot, Top Note Die, Hearts a Flutter Die, Snowflake EF, Scallop Punch, Owl Punch, 1" Circle Punch, 1-3/8" Circle Punch, Cherry Cobbler Baker's Twine, Jingle Bell, Box, Mini-Glue Dots, Dimensionals

Happy Tuesday everyone; hope you all are having a great day!  We have a very creative and fun challenge for you today over at Try Stampin' on Tuesday!  The sketch is shown below, and you can load your work of art HERE!

I used the cute hedgehogs from the 25th Anniversary set, The Best of Snow, for my card.  You can purchase these awesome sets during a limited time, and it's fun to be able to purchase "throw back" sets!

The hedgehogs were stamped with a StazOn inkpad, and then watercolored in with Old Olive, Cherry Cobbler, Baked Brown Sugar, Crumb Cake, Chocolate Chip and Pumpkin Pie inks.  The DSP is from the current Holiday Catalog, and it's called Season of Style.  Here's a list of what I used:

Techno Stamper: Monday Lunchtime Challenge

Don't you just love the sketch below for today's Monday Lunchtime Challenge?  This sketch  would make a great CAS card!  So please play along, and when you are finished with your creation, you can simply load it HERE

I used 2 sets for my challenge card, Snow Day and A Banner Christmas; which you can find in the current Holiday Catalog.  I normally take pictures of my cards outside, but we had some really incredible storms come through yesterday, and it was hard to find a place inside my house to take a picture!

I inked up the snowman image with Crumb Cake and then stamped the image off on a scrap piece of paper, and then on a piece of Whisper White c/s.  Before I cut the image out, I stamped the scarf and hat with Cherry Cobbler ink, the nose with Pumpkin Pie and the face with Chocolate Chip.  The DSP I used for the background is called Season of Style, and it is also in the Holiday Catalog.  Below is a list of what supplies I used.

Stamps: Snow Day, A Banner Christmas
Inks: Crumb Cake, Cherry Cobbler, Chocolate Chip, Pumpkin Pie, Gumball Green
Papers: Whisper White, Cherry Cobbler, Season of Style DSP
Accessories: Big Shot, Snowflake EF, Cherry Cobbler Brads, Cherry Cobbler Baker's Twine, 1-1/4" Square Punch, Jingle Bell, Dimensionals, SAMJ

Thanksgiving Candle

I made the Thanksgiving candle below, and it was pretty easy to make!  I punched out 3 ovals using a large Oval Punch and Pumpkin Spice cardstock.  I then ran the pieces through my Big Shot using the Woodgrain EF, and then brushed the edges with Pumpkin Pie ink.  The leaves were punched out using the Bird Punch and Gumball Green cardstock.  The stem was punched using the Word Window Punch; I cut the end on a slant and then feathered the edges with Early Espresso ink.  I wrapped some twine around the candle, and attached the pumpkin with Dimensionals.

Monday Lunchtime Challenge/LNS Challenge

I have 2 challenges for this post this morning.  The first challenge is this week's Monday Lunchtime Techno Stamper Challenge, and below is this week's sketch.  When you are finished with your card, you can load it HERE.

I used the stamp set, Secret Garden, for my card and paired with it Venetian Romance DSP.  I used the Expressions Thinlits Dies for the "love" expressions, and find that layering a piece of wax paper first between the c/s and die helps to get the c/s out of the die.  Below is a list of what I used.

Stamps: Secret Garden
Inks: Tangerine Tango, Soft Suede
Papers: Very Vanilla, Tangerine Tango, Pistachio Pudding, Soft Suede, Venetian Romance DSP
Accessories: Big Shot, Expressions Thinlits Die, Secret Gardens Framelits, Bird Punch, Pearls, Distressing Tool, Mini-Glue Dots, Dimensionals

We have a fun 2-week challenge for you over at the LNS blog.  The theme for this challenge is "Fall into Fall", and nothing says fall like pumpkins!  The pumpkin I created is actually a case from one I saw on Julie Davidson's blog.  Julie has a great tutorial as well as to how she created her pumpkin, and you can find the link to her blog HERE.

When you are finished with your fall creation, you can simply load it HERE

And here is my pumpkin......

Techno Stamper Monday Lunchtime Challenge

We have a really great challenge for you over at the Techno Stamper Lunchtime Challenge blog!  You can find the sketch below and you can load your work of art HERE!

I used the very cool Epic Day This and That DSP for my background, and then added the bird image using the Hostess Set, Simply Sketched.  The "love" saying is one of 3 new dies from the current Holiday Catalog.  I found out the secret to getting the thin lettering out of the die is to add wax paper in-between the die and c/s.  It came right out with no problems!

Stamps: Simply Sketched
Inks: Pool Party, Daffodil Delight, Gumball Green, Crumb Cake, Black StazOn
Papers: Very Vanilla, Pool Party, Epic Day This and That DSP
Accessories: Big Shot, Window Frames Framelits, Expressions Thinlits Dies, Apothecary Accent Dies, Daffodil Delight Brads, Watercolor Brush, Sponge, Dimensionals, Paper Piercing Tool, Mini-Glue Dots
