Pumpkins Made with Vellum C/S

I was going through some of my projects that I made over the years and found these pumpkins that I made from a stencil and vellum card stock many years ago!  The leaves were stamped on Glorious Green, cut out and attached at the top. I think I remember this being a stamp camp project - anyone remember this??  Anyway, I added a few more eyelets so it could stand up better and put a candle in the middle.

LNS Challenge - Square Card

Wow!  What a busy week!  Last week of football and it was senior night on Friday.  I woke up Saturday morning with a really bad head cold that has been kickin' my bootee all weekend long.  So I thought I would try my hand at this week's challenge - which was to make a square shaped card.  I wanted to see how an image would come out using the Square Lattice embossing folder - I colored in the image first with markers, stamped it, then ran it through the Big Shot/EF.  I think it gives a kind of textured look. I used Old Olive c/s and the clear square die for the card front and my base was a piece of 4" x 8" white card stock folded in half.   Got to love the versatility of the dies and my Big Shot!!  Anyway, have a good one - I need to go take more cold meds and go to bed...........

Second Challenge Card

I decided to make another challenge card using the same layout and products, but changed up the ribbon and added a champagne glitter brad from the new holiday mini.  It was hard to get a good shot of this card because of the sun.  Below is a pic of both cards - which one do you like the best??

Just Believe With In-Colors

This week's LNS stamping challenge is to make a card using the new In-Colors.  This card was pretty simple to make.  I inked up the flower image using Peach Parfait ink, then swiped some Poppy Parade over certain parts of the inked image.  I spritzed some water on the ink and stamped on a piece of Whisper White cardstock.  I distressed and ripped the edges using my distressing tool; tied the Poppy Parade ribbon on and mounted.  Very quick and easy.  Here's what I used:

Stamps: Just Believe
Inks: Poppy Parade, Peach Parfait
Papers: Poppy Parade, Peach Parfait, Whisper White
Accessories for both cards: Poppy Parade 1/2" Stitched-Poly Ribbon, Modern Label Punch, Color Spritzer Tool, Dimensionals, CAD, Champagne Glimmer Brad, Mini-Glue Dots, Sewing Machine, Thread

Metal Contact Paper

Mary Director posted an interesting project on YouTube (Here) about a card that she made using Faux Metal Contact Paper.  I called Lowe's and they had 5 rolls left, so I hopped in my car and went and bought 3!  I made a votive holder and had to attach the contact paper with some retired scrap cardstock before I could run it through my Big Shot.  The contact paper is pretty thin and that's why you need to pull the backing off and attach it to cardstock.  After I cut the images out I ran them through the Big Shot again and used the new, Northern Flurry EF, found on page 26 of the winter mini.  I found a small glass container that fix the center and wrapped some Silver Tinsel Trim around the bottom, securing the tinsel with mini-glue dots. Here's what I used:

Supplies:  Big Shot, Flower Folds Bigz xl Die, Northern Flurry embossing folder, white cardstock, Faux Metal Contact Paper (by Duck), adhesive, candle, Silver Tinsel Trim (page 21), mini-glue dots
