Welcome to Monday's Challenge!

Welcome to this Monday's Techno Stamper Lunchtime Challenge.  We have a really fun challenge sketch for you this week!  The sketch is shown below, and you can enter the card that you made HERE.

I decided to do a "throw back" card for this challenge; anyone remember this fun set, Kids at Play?  It's one of those sets that I know I will always keep around!  All of the images were stamped using a Black Stazon inkpad on Whisper White c/s.  The images were watercolored in using the colors listed below, and then cut out.  I ran a scrap piece of Whisper White c/s through my Big Shot using the Cloudy Day EF.  I then used the scallop punch to create the clouds for the 3 squares shown above.  I drew a "string" to the little girls hand after I mounted each balloon and then tied a piece of black embossing thread around her hand and made a knot.  I think this card turned out kind of cute, and I hope you like it as well!  Here's a list of what I used:

Stamps: Kids at Play, Essentials
Papers: Whisper White, So Saffron, Certainly Celery, Rose Red, Cutie Pie DSP
Inks: Black Stazon, So Saffron, Certainly Celery, Bashful Blue, Rose Red, Close to Cocoa
Accessories: Big Shot, Cloudy Day EF, Scallop Circle Punch, 1-3/8" and 1-1/4" Circle Punches, Blender Pen, Scallop Border Punch, Black Embossing Thread, Dimensionals, Scissors

One More Direct to Paper Card.....

I couldn't resist trying one more card using the direct to paper technique.  I used the bird image from the new hostess set, Simply Sketched.  I lightly swiped So Saffron ink across the top of the piece of Very Vanilla c/s, then Bashful Blue across the middle, and then some Baked Brown Sugar ink across the bottom.  I inked up the grass using a Gumball Green marker and stamped it several times over the Baked Brown Sugar ink.  The bird image was stamped on a scrap piece of Very Vanilla c/s using a Stazon inkpad, watercolored in with Island Indigo and So Saffron ink and then cut out.

Here's a list for the rest of the materials I used:

Stamps: Simply Sketched
Inks: Black Stazon, Island Indigo, So Saffron, Baked Brown Sugar, Gumball Green, Bashful Blue, Early Espresso
Papers: Very Vanilla, Island Indigo, Baked Brown Sugar
Accessories: Big Shot, Woodgrain EF, Early Espresso Baker's Twine, Vintage Brads, Sponge, Distressing Tool, Blender Pen, Dimensionals

For my card, I used the new In-Colors, Coastal Cabana, Baked Brown Sugar and Strawberry Slush.  I stamped the flower image on a scrap piece of watercolor c/s, colored it in with a blender pen and cut it out.  I then mounted the flower images over the one that I stamped in Coastal Cabana on a piece of Very Vanilla c/s.  Here's a list of what I used for my card:

Inks: Coastal Cabana, Baked Brown Sugar, Strawberry Slush
Papers: Very Vanilla, Coastal Cabana, Baked Brown Sugar, Watercolor c/s
