Monday's Lunchtime Sketch Challenge!

Hope you and your family had a great weekend, and are ready to play along in today's Techno Stamper Lunchtime Challenge!  Below is the sketch, and you can load your works of art HERE!

Anyone remember Haunting Halloween from a few years ago?  I am partial to it because we have 2 cats!  The cat image was stamped onto a piece of watercolor paper, and then colored in using Pistachio Pudding, Pumpkin Pie, Summer Starfruit, and Smoky Slate.  I used Witches' Brew DSP for the background and some punched out stars.  Here's a list of what I used:

Stamps: Haunting Halloween, Halloween Hello (saying)
Inks: Black Stazon, Pistachio Pudding, Pumpkin Pie, Summer Starfruit, Smoky Slate, Basic Black
Papers: Very Vanilla, Basic Black, Silver Glimmer, Watercolor, Witches' Brew DSP
Accessories: Big Shot, Windows Frame Framelits, Hearts a Flutter Framelits, Star Punch and Framelit, Watercolor Brush, Sponge, Dimensionals

Try Stampin' on Tuesday Challenge

We have a very simple and fun challenge for you this week over at Try Stampin' on Tuesday!  I love the simplicity of this sketch and the possibilities that go with it!  When you are finished with your creation, please post it HERE.

For my card, I used the new DSP, Venetian Romance, for my background and love the look of it!  This card is CAS, and I like how it turned out.  I stamped the boat twice on Very Vanilla c/s using Soft Suede ink.  I then cut one image out with using a Windows Frames Die and cut out just the sails from the other image.  I punched a hole out of a post-it-note using the 1-3/8" circle punch, and sponged some Crisp Cantaloupe and Cajun Craze in the hole to create the look of the sun.  I also sponged some Pool Party and Crisp Cantaloupe along the bottom of the boat.  Here's a list of what I used:

Stamps: Sail Away
Inks: Soft Suede, Crisp Cantaloupe, Cajun Craze, Pool Party
Papers: Very Vanilla, Soft Suede, Venetian Romance DSP
Accessories: Big Shot, Windows Frame Framelits, Apothecary Accent Dies, 1-3/8" Circle Punch, CAD, Brown Eyelets, Pool Party Ribbon, Sponges, Scissors, Dimensionals

LNS Challenge

Sorry it's been so long since I have last posted.  Can you tell that football season is right around the corner?  Wednesday is the first official day of practice and I can't wait!  This is my last year that I will have a football player on the team, and have already had some sad "last time" moments.....Tomorrow Ben and I are going up to Parkside for a college visit and he starts back to school on Wednesday.  Chelsie starts back at college next week and starts her new job at Stacie's Cakes on Friday; so lots going on in our household!

Anyway, on to this week's LNS challenge - which is to pull out your specialty papers (DSP, vellum, glitter papers, etc.) and create your masterpiece using these items!  When you are finished, you can load your card HERE.
