Try Stampin' on Tuesday Challenge

The sketch for this week's Try Stampin' on Tuesday is below and we are asking that you add a twist to your card, by making your card as "spooky" as possible!  When you have finished your spooky work of art, you can simply load it HERE

I used the retired set, A Haunting We Will Go, for my spooky card.  The little cat really isn't "spooky", but he sure is cute!  I watercolored the image on watercolor paper using my trusty watercolor brush and then cut it out.  I then added some Witches' Brew DSP for background.  I used the retired Spider Web EF on the Very Vanilla c/s.  Here's a list of what I used:

Stamps: A Haunting We Will Go
Papers: Very Vanilla, Smoky Slate, Pumpkin Pie, Watercolor Paper, Witches' Brew DSP
Inks: Black StazOn, Pumpkin Pie, Smoky Slate, Summer Starfruit, Cajun Craze, Blushing Bride
Accessories: Big Shot, Window Frames Framelits, Spider Web EF, Hearts a Flutter Framelits, Black Ribbon, Photo Corner Punch, Sponge, Dimensionals

Monday Lunchtime Challenge/LNS Challenge

I have 2 challenges for this post this morning.  The first challenge is this week's Monday Lunchtime Techno Stamper Challenge, and below is this week's sketch.  When you are finished with your card, you can load it HERE.

I used the stamp set, Secret Garden, for my card and paired with it Venetian Romance DSP.  I used the Expressions Thinlits Dies for the "love" expressions, and find that layering a piece of wax paper first between the c/s and die helps to get the c/s out of the die.  Below is a list of what I used.

Stamps: Secret Garden
Inks: Tangerine Tango, Soft Suede
Papers: Very Vanilla, Tangerine Tango, Pistachio Pudding, Soft Suede, Venetian Romance DSP
Accessories: Big Shot, Expressions Thinlits Die, Secret Gardens Framelits, Bird Punch, Pearls, Distressing Tool, Mini-Glue Dots, Dimensionals

LNS Challenge

We have a fun 2-week challenge for you over at the LNS blog.  The theme for this challenge is "Fall into Fall", and nothing says fall like pumpkins!  The pumpkin I created is actually a case from one I saw on Julie Davidson's blog.  Julie has a great tutorial as well as to how she created her pumpkin, and you can find the link to her blog HERE.

When you are finished with your fall creation, you can simply load it HERE

And here is my pumpkin......

Papers: Pumpkin Pie, Pistachio Pudding, Cajun Craze
Accessories: Big Shot, Expressions Thinlits Die, Beautifully Baroque EF, Neutral Button, Brads, Early Espresso Baker's Twine

Techno Stamper Monday Lunchtime Challenge

We have a really great challenge for you over at the Techno Stamper Lunchtime Challenge blog!  You can find the sketch below and you can load your work of art HERE!

I used the very cool Epic Day This and That DSP for my background, and then added the bird image using the Hostess Set, Simply Sketched.  The "love" saying is one of 3 new dies from the current Holiday Catalog.  I found out the secret to getting the thin lettering out of the die is to add wax paper in-between the die and c/s.  It came right out with no problems!

Stamps: Simply Sketched
Inks: Pool Party, Daffodil Delight, Gumball Green, Crumb Cake, Black StazOn
Papers: Very Vanilla, Pool Party, Epic Day This and That DSP
Accessories: Big Shot, Window Frames Framelits, Expressions Thinlits Dies, Apothecary Accent Dies, Daffodil Delight Brads, Watercolor Brush, Sponge, Dimensionals, Paper Piercing Tool, Mini-Glue Dots

I used the stamp set, Secret Garden, for my card today. I love having the matching dies and don't have to hand cut the flowers from this set!  The flowers were stamped with Pink Pirouette and I then added a brad from Vintage Trinkets Collection in the middle.  Here's a list of what I used:

Stamps: Secret Garden, Teeny Tiny Wishes
Inks: Pink Pirouette, Pistachio Pudding, Early Espresso
Papers: Whisper White, Early Espresso, Pink Pirouette, Twitterpated DSP
