Hershey Nugget Boxes

This is one of the many items I will be selling at the Holiday Boutique I am participating in.  The nugget boxes are pretty fast and easy to make.  I would be so lost without my Big Shot and all the great dies that Stampin' Up! sells!  The strips that I placed around each nugget are 1" x 3-1/2", and they are a good fit inside the box. Love the glitter strips on the Candy Cane Christmas DP!  Have a good one - my stamp-a-stack camp starts in an hour!

Stamps: Happy Holidays (retired saying)
Inks: Real Red
Papers: Baja Breeze, Garden Green, Whisper White, Candy Cane Christmas DP
Accessories: Big Shot, Northern Frost Decorative Strip, Matchbox Die, Real Red 1/4" Grosgrain Ribbon, Medium Oval Punch (Holiday Mini, page 25), Basic Rhinestones, Mini-Glue Dots, Hershey Nuggets

Another Gift Card Holder!

Can you guess what I have been working on for the past 3 days - gift card holders!  Here is another one that designed tonight.  This one is fast because I am not layering it with any designer paper.  Just running it through my Big Shot using the Northern Flurry Embossing Folder.  Then I am sponging some white craft ink over the raised snowflakes.  Tie at bow on the front and add the saying - easy as pie!

Inks: Cherry Cobbler, White Craft Inkpad
Papers: Cherry Cobbler, Early Espresso (sponged on the edges), Very Vanilla

Bells & Bough Gift Card Holder

Here is another gift card holder that I designed this afternoon for the boutique.  Thanks for taking a peak!  I am crafting away in my office while listening to the Boys of Fall Documentary.  It's hard not to cry - if you're a football mom, you'll understand!

Stamps: Bells and Boughs
Inks: Always Artichoke, Early Espresso (sponged on the edges)
Papers: Always Artichoke, Very Vanilla, Cherry Cobbler, Deck the Halls DP
Accessories: Big Shot, Scallop Rectange Clearlits, Vintage Wallpaper EF, Northern Flurry EF, Sponge, Dimensionals

Gift Card Holders

I needed to make 7 gift card holders for our football coaches, and I found these fast and fun gift card holders on Stamp TV (YouTube Stamp TV Video) last night.  They aren't very fancy, but they do the job at 11:00 p.m. at night!  I ran a 1" x 8"-1/2" strip of silver card stock through my Big Shot using the Perfect Polka Dot EF for the belly band. I downloaded the image of the MHS mascot, printed them, and punched them out using the 1-3/8" circle punch.  The instructions that Gina gives are simple to follow and these holders really are cute and easy!  I think I will design and make some for the Holiday Boutique I'm participating in December.  Have a great weekend; I'm off the start designing........

The front of the holder using the MHS colors - Red, Black and Silver

Stamps/Inks: None
Papers: Real Red, Basic Black, Silver, Whisper White (logo), Typing Paper (inside saying)
Accessories: Big Shot, Perfect Polka Dot EF, 1-3/8" Circle Punch, 1-3/4" Circle Punch, Dimensionals

Holiday Boutique Projects

Hope you all were able to look at all the wonderful projects on the Royal Blog Tour last week!  I have been designing some of the projects I am going to be selling at the upcoming Holiday Boutique at the Fremont Middle School the first week of December.  I have to say, I won't be able to crack them out without my Big Shot!!!!!  I found a ton of retired holiday design paper; I guess it pays to be a "paper hoarder"!  I will making all of the items in different colors, below are my prototypes.  I also made 400 gift tags that I need to "bag and tag" and will post when that is done.  I have lots more to design and will post more when I'm done!  So what do you think???

This sample was made using the Candy Wrapper Die that is in the Holiday Mini Catalog (page 10).  I found a great sample and tutorial on Kirsteen's blog (Click Here) and am able to make these fairly quickly.  After I die cut the wrapper, I then run the c/s through the Big Shot using the Northern Flurry Embossing Folder (also from the Holiday Mini on page 26).  I put 4 Hershey Kisses inside, wrapped a piece of Whisper White Ribbon around the box, attached 2 starts, added a small pearl and here it is!

Stamps: Retired Happy Holidays saying
Inks: Bashful Blue
Papers: Bashful Blue, Whisper White
Accessories: Big Shot, Candy Wrapper Die, Northern Flurry EF, Northern Frost Decorative Strip, Snowflake Punch, Whisper White Ribbon, Pearl, Small Oval Punch, Mini-Glue Dot, Sticky Strip Hershey Kisses

Anyone remember when SU use to sell these glossy boxes?  Well I found 10 of them and thought they would work great with the set, A Cute Christmas, from the Holiday Mini (page 32).  The designer paper is also from the Holiday Mini, and it is called Candy Cane Christmas (page 33).

Stamps: A Cute Christmas
Inks: Basic Black, Real Red, Baja Breeze, Garden Green
Papers: Real Red, Garden Green, Whisper White, Candy Cane Christmas DP
Accessories: Real Red Ribbon, Dazzling Diamonds Glitter, Glue Pen, 2-3/8" Scallop Circle Punch, Dimensionals, Die Cut Boxes

Nugget Boxes - I die cut 75 of these babies yesterday in different colors using the Matchbox Bigz xl Die.  Again, so thankful that I have my Big Shot!  I still have to put them together, but am glad that is all I have do.

Stamps: So Many Scallops (retired)
Inks: Bashful Blue, Wild Wasabi
Papers: Whisper White, Wild Wasabi, Retired DP (sorry, don't know the name of it.......)
Accessories: Big Shot, Matchbox Die (page 208), Scallop & Circle Punches, Certainly Celery Satin Ribbon, Pearl, Hershey Nuggets, Dazzling Diamonds Glitter, Glue Pen, Dimensional

This box was made using the Fancy Favor Die (page 208).  I'm still not sure if this is the look I want for this box and am still playing around with the design.  Here's what I used:

Papers: Whisper White, Baja Breeze, Retired Designer Paper (I had a ton of this stuff!)

Welcome to My Castle

The following are projects that I made for the Royal Blog Hop:

Welcome to my Royal Castle; I am so thankful that you have stopped by! I hope your journey through our Royal Blog Kingdom has been enjoyable and we thank you for accepting your royal invitation to attend our blog hop! I have several samples for your enjoyment using the stamp set, Pocket Silhouettes.

I used one of my favorite color combination for this card.  This card was very simple to make, and you can dress it up many different ways.  For this card, I choose to keep it simple and clean.

Stamp Set: Pocket Silhouettes
Markers: Rich Razzleberry, Old Olive
Papers: Rich Razzleberry, Whisper White
Accessories: Big Shot, Vintage Wallpaper Embossing Folder, Old Olive Ribbon, Dimensionals

For my next project I decided to do a monochromatic card using one of the new In-Colors, Poppy Parade.  I used the Scallop Square Clear Die (page 207) for the card front, which was mounted on a piece of 4"x8" Whisper White that folded in half.  The designer paper I used is from the Hostess Level 1 Designer Series Paper Pack.  To create the medium sized square, I used the new Scallop Squares Duo from the Holiday Mini Catalog.

Stamps: Pocket Silhouettes
Inks: Poppy Parade
Papers: Whisper White, Poppy Parade, Designer Series Paper Pack - Hostess Level 1
Accessories: Big Shot, Scallop Square Clear Die, Scallop Squares Duo, Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder, Poppy Parade Ribbon, Scallop Square Extra-Large Punch, Whisper White Brads, Paper Piercing Tool, Dimensionals

I used a color combo that I have never used before and like how it turned out.  I stamped the flower image first with Chocolate Chip, cut out a circle on a post-it-note using my 1-3/8" circle punch and layered that over the image.  I then sponged Marina Mist over the card front and around the circle.  Love how it creates an effectof a moon.  Added some brads, a library clip and layered on a piece of designer paper from the Woodland Walk papers.

Stamps: Pocket Silhouettes
Inks: Chocolate Chip, Marina Mist
Papers: Whisper White, Marina Mist, Woodland Walk Designer Paper
Accessories: Silver Brads, Paper Piercing Tool, Library Clip, Hemp Twine, Dimensionals, Post-it-Note

This is a card that I actually cased from an older SU catty, and tried the color combo of Daffodil Delight, Early Espresso and Old Olive.  Another pretty quick and easy card to make!

Stamp Sets: Pocket Silhouettes, Matchbox Messages
Inks: Early Espresso, Old Olive, Daffodil Delight
Papers: Early Espresso, Daffodil Delight, Whisper White
Accessories: Big Shot, Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder, Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border, Old Olive Ribbon, Hemp Twine, Paper Piercing Tool, Distressing Tool, Sponge, Dimensionals

I was looking through the current catalog, and saw this card using Pocket Silhouettes.  I thought it was cute and would be another fun addition to the blog hop.  I changed it up by sewing a border with my sewing machine and mounted the white card stock on a piece of Pretty in Pink card stock.

Stamps: Pocket Silhouettes
Inks: Regal Rose, Certainly Celery, Chocolate Chip
Papers: Whisper White, Pretty in Pink
Accessories: Basic Pearls, Sewing Machine, Thread, Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Thank you for journeying through my blog.  I hope you had a most pleasant time looking at the samples I have  prepared for your viewing pleasure.
