Santa Made From Punches

I saw this cute little guy on Gretchen Barron's blog and knew I wanted to give it a try and make him! If you haven't seen Gretchen's blog, here is the link for it - she is one awesomely talented stamper http://gretchenbarron.typepad.com/my_weblog/!! If you would like to make this little guy for yourself, please come to my Holiday Stamp Camp on Sunday, December 4th at 2:00 p.m. The cost is only $25.00, and we'll be making some fun holiday projects!

This project is done using punches and the Top Note Die. I used the large image stamp from Baroque Motifs; inked it up with Blush Blossom and then stamped in on a white piece of cardstock that I had cut using the Top Note Die. I used this for the beard and at the top of the face. You can see that I used the Scallop Edge Punch to make the edge of the hat. The face and hat were also made using this die. I used the 1" circle punch for the eyes and lid, and a 3/4" punch to make the pupils and nose. I then sponged Pretty in Pink around this cheeks and feathered the edges of the eyelids and beard.

Here's the recipe:

Stamp Set: Baroque Motif
Inks: Pretty in Pink, Blush Blossom, Basic Black marker
Papers: Whisper White, Blush Blossom, Real Red, Basic Black
Accessories: Big Shot, Top Note Die, Scallop Edge Punch, 1"& 3/4" Circle Punches, White Gel Pen, Stampin' Dimensionals, Cotton Ball, Sponge
