Techno Stamper Monday Challenge

Happy Monday morning!  I had a busy weekend as my son's football team had their annual mulch sale.  I wasn't sure if I would be able to get my card for this week's challenge, but am glad I was able to squeeze in some stamping time!

Another great sketch this week!  We would love to see what you have created using the sketch below.  When you are finished, you can load your creation HERE.

I decided to go with Rich Razzleberry for my main color, and used some SAB Sycamore Street DSP I had left over.  I stamped the flower from Secret Garden 3 times with Rich Razzleberry and then cut out different sections and layered them to give the card some depth.  Here's a list of what I used:

Stamps: Secret Garden, Itty Bitty Banners
Inks: Rich Razzleberry, Old Olive
Papers: Whisper White, Rich Razzleberry, SAB Sycamore Street DSP

CAS Card

My awesome nephew, Austin, updated my computer over the weekend.......I had serious computer withdrawal, but it was so worth it!

With my computer being upgraded, I wasn't able to meet the design challenge deadlines this weekend.  But I was able to make a very simple CAS card!

I thought I would try tucking a piece of Rich Razzleberry satin ribbon under the lace from the Artisan Embellishments Kit.  I think it looks kind of cool, and like the softness of the card.  Here's the details:

Stamps: Blooming with Kindness, Itty Bitty Backgrounds
Inks: Rich Razzleberry
Papers: Very Vanilla, Rich Razzleberry
Accessories: Big Shot, Apothecary Accent Die, Bitty Butterfly Punch, Artisan Embellishments Kit, Pearls, Distressing Tool, Sponge, Dimensionals

Today's Techno Lunchtime Challenge

It's a very rainy Monday here and I'm sure my lunch kiddos will have a hard time being inside today for recess!  It's been a long winter, and I think we are all looking forward to warmer weather soon!

Monday also means that it's time for Techno Stamper Monday Lunchtime Challenge!  Below is today's sketch challenge; great sketch with lots of fun possibilities!  When you are finished with your sketch, you can load it HERE

For my card I thought I would combine two challenges (Monday Lunchtime & LNS) into one card.  This week's LNS challenge is to use the color combo of Rich Razzleberry, Old Olive and Summer Starfruit.  I stamped the two flower images in Rich Razzleberry, and then watercolored the flowers with a blender pen using Rich Razzleberry ink.  I cut the flowers out and then layered them over the Old Olive leaves using Dimensionals.  It was a pretty simple card to make, and it has a nice clean and simple look to it.  Here's what I used:

Stamps: Fabulous Florets
Inks: Rich Razzleberry, Old Olive
Papers: Very Vanilla, Rich Razzleberry, Summer Starfruit
Accessories: Big Shot, Lacy Brocade EF, Vine Street EF, Oval Die, Summer Starfruit Dahlia, Dimensionals

LNS Challenge

I have to admit that this week's LNS challenge to make a card based on your favorite candy was a bit of a "challenge" for me.  I really had to put on my thinking cap for this one!  One of my favorite candies are Reese Peanut Cups, and I love making peanut butter cookies with the mini-cups.  I based my card on the colors in the wrapper - gold, brown and orange, and here is my card.

So did you guess what this week's challenge is?  That's right - use a candy bar to inspire your creation!  Create a card, scrapbook page, 3-D item, or anything else you can think of that was inspired by your favorite candy bar!  When you are done with your inspiration, you can simply load it HERE!

I colored in the image from the set, Thoughts & Prayers, using Calypso Coral and Early Espresso markers.  I added some pearls to the flowers, and used my Stamp-a-ma-Jig to set the saying.  I ran a piece of gold c/s through my Big Shot using the Lacy Brocade EF, placed a strip of vanilla flowers across the middle, and added more pearls.  More details listed below:

Stamps: Thoughts & Prayers, Blooming with Kindness (saying)
Inks/Markers: Calypso Coral, Early Espresso
Papers: Very Vanilla, Early Espresso, God
Accessories: Big Shot, Lacy Brocade EF, 5/8" Vanilla Flower Trim, Pearls, SAMJ, Mini-Glue Dots

For my take on the sketch, I stamped the bird image from the set, For the Birds, on a scratch piece of Very Vanilla cardstock.  I colored the image in with the colors listed below, and then cut it out using an Apothecary Accent Die.  This was a pretty simple card to make, and I like the look of the soft colors.  Here's the details:
