We have another great sketch for you this Monday, and here it is:
Don't you just love this sketch? When you are finished creating your project, you can simply load it on the Techno Stamper blog and you can find the link: HERE.
For my project I used the stamp set, Blooming with Kindness. I went with more of a mono-chromatic look and used the color, Calypso Coral. I stamped the flower twice and swiped Calypso Coral ink over the edges after I cut out the flowers. I lightly pressed the 3 Vanilla flowers into the Calypso Coral inkpad to add just a hint of color to the flowers. The sayings was stamped onto a 1" strip of Very Vanilla c/s. I punched the butterfly out of the Tea for Two DSP using the Bitty Butterfly punch, and then added some pearls. Here's the details:
Stamps: Blooming with Kindness
Inks: Calypso Coral
Papers: Very Vanilla, Calypso Coral, Tea for Two DSP
Accessories: Big Shot, Finial Press EF, Tea Lace Paper Dollie, Bitty Butterfly Punch, 5/8" Vanilla Flower Trim Ribbon, Pearls, 1-3/8" Square Punch, Dimensionals, Scissors
Late Night Stampers Challenge:
We all need guy cards, and they seem to be the hardest to make. So this week's challenge is to a guy card and we have some great samples to get your started. Here's the link to upload your favorite guy card when you're done: LNS Blog
I saw a card on PI that the incredibly talented Michelle Zindorf crafted and I knew I wanted to try my hand at the direct to paper technique as well. Michelle's has a wonderful tutorial on her blog on how she created her card; which you can find HERE.
And below is my card; I changed it up by added a strip of black ribbon and brads at the corner. I am amazed at how incredibly simply this technique is and how stunning the results are! My colors are a little more mutted than hers, but I still like the results.
Stamps: Serene Silhouettes
Inks: Basic Black, Old Olive, Pool Party, Baja Breeze, Marina Mist, So Saffron
Papers: Whisper White, Old Olive, Basic Black, Marina Mist
Accessories: Big Shot, Chevron EF, Basic Black Ribbon and Brads, Square Corner Punch, Sponges, Dimensionals, SAMJ

Beautiful scene. Background is amazing. Can you do a YouTube on that scene? Thanks for sharing.
just made this card for my grandson, didn't have any of the supplies you had so just made it up as l went along. Love the result. Doesn't look anything like yours or the original as l reversed the pic due to inking the background outcome
